Chains of Comfort - Photo Series (2022)
 

Chains of Comfort is a photo series that examines the relationship between love and loneliness. Whilst the couple in this story live in the present day, by utilising renaissance art as the main inspiration, Chains of Comfort opens the door for a timeless conversation about love and its complex variables.  

 

Our protagonist leads the unspoken debate by questioning the initial electricity of new found love until it uncomfortably lingers, and without thinking deeply enough about his situation, he continues to commit to something he potentially wasn’t ready for. 

 

Whilst many of the themes in chains of comfort are universal and relatable, this is only one perspective. love can often get lost within tradition, structure and expectation, but there is no denying the unspoken magic every one of us feels when hearts collide.
